The problem your business solves: My product, Sunday Toast, cuts down on time spent in the kitchen preparing breakfast or brunch, which leaves more time for the people that matter most — family and friends.
What makes your business unique: While most quick breakfast meals are processed and frozen, my batter is made with fresh ingredients.
What's your story: My sister always enjoyed my homemade french toast. So when she moved away from home, she asked that I bottle the batter and send it to her. After she made french toast for her friends, they started asking me to send them bottles of Sunday Toast batter as well.
What’s your greatest challenge in your business and how are you overcoming it: My greatest challenge was understanding how to reach my target market. I participated in quite a few farmer markets and fairs, but did not find success until I started marketing my business on Instagram and hosting pop up brunch parties.
What are you most proud of about your business: I'm so proud that I'm doing something that I love.
What's yummy about being a food entrepreneur: Food makes people happy...I love to see children eat my food, dance, smile and ask for more. I love that feeling more than anything. That's what's great about being a food entrepreneur.
