The intimate event was produced by Anita Belle of AJB Events and was held at &Co Coworking in downtown Jersey City. Guests enjoyed bites from Bread & Spoon and Om Sweet Home Specialty Bakery. Judy Spires, CEO of Kings Food Markets and Balducci's Food Lover's Market and Dawn Pascale of Om Sweet Home Specialty Bakery shared their expertise and advice with attendees during a panel discussion moderated by Hudson Kitchen founder and CEO Djenaba Johnson-Jones.

Guests enjoyed a tasting menu from OM Sweet Home, Jams By Kim, mademeals, paleyobakery, Nosh and Mondel Baking Co. while hearing what inspired each entrepreneur to launch their food brands. Chef Ronaldo Linares of Martino's Cuban, editor Shannon Sarna Goldberg and LIz Moody of Sprouted Routes discussed how to use your unique story to build community and monetize your brand during a panel discussion moderated by Hudson Kitchen founder and CEO Djenaba Johnson-Jones.

75 food entrepreneurs and industry professionals joined Hudson Kitchen for the first in a series of networking events and culinary business workshops. The event was produced by Anita Belle of AJB Events and held at the JCR Pop Up Shop in downtown Jersey City.
Guests enjoyed a panel discussion entitled "Finding Your Mix: Following Your Dreams as a Food Entrepreneur," which included local food entrepreneurs Dawn Pascale founder of OM Sweet Home, a specialty bakery focusing on plant-based and gluten-free desserts and cakes; Alysis Vasquez of executive chef and owner of Jersey City Chef Collective & Supper Club, Chilltown Kitchen; Eddie Cotto, Jr. executive chef and owner of ME Casa Restaurant and Catering and Lloyd Ortuoste, co-founder of Baonanas, an artisanal banana pudding company. The panel was moderated by Hudson Kitchen founder and CEO Djenaba Johnson-Jones.
Attendees were treated to a tasting menu from 15 local vendors which included Baonanas, A&I Nutreats, Black Swan Pies, Bread & Spoon, Central Avenue Liquors, Dark Side Of The Moo, Graze & Braise, Icon Food Marketing, Lighten Up Caterers!, New Jersey Beer Company, OM Sweet Home, Outer Limits Hot Sauce, Squeeze'D and Waffle It & Co. Guests also learned how to have a more sustainable business from the Community Compost Company.
