Job Description:
Assist the Head Baker with preparing ingredients to include: washing and chopping fruits, making crust, lining mini and large pans for baking, mixing ingredients in large batch mixer and pouring batter into pans.  Responsibility also include maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc. Applicant should have a working knowledge of gluten-free, vegan and natural sweeteners. 

Qualifications:

  • No previous cooking or kitchen experience is required but is preferred
  • Job will require the ability to stand for long periods of time, as well as frequent and repetitive work
  • Ability to operate and use equipment necessary for commercial kitchen operations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-­workers and work successfully as a part of a team
  • Work varied hours and days based on business needs and school schedule
  • Work to prepare for special events or catering
  • Work successfully as part of a team under pressure and maintain positive professional attitude
