As Sales & Brand Partnerships Manager, you will work closely with the Hudson Kitchen founder to manage the day-to-day workflow pertaining to food business consulting services.  The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded with experience and expertise in the food industry.  We are looking for someone who approaches sales both from a strategic and creative perspective, and has a keen understanding of clients' business goals.  Must have experience writing proposals; conceptualizing, implementing and executing programs; and managing budgets. Strong prospecting skills and the ability to identify new opportunities and grow the number of Hudson Kitchen clients are a must.

Functions and Duties:

  • Develop prospect list and answer website consulting inquiries; conduct outreach to future clients
  • Schedule and conduct 30-minute phone consultations and make “face-to-face” sales presentations in person or via video conference with potential clients
  • Develop proposals that align with client objectives and goals; project manage the execution of contracts including collaborating with creative, copywriting, design, developer and event partners; create timelines to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
  • Serve as a trusted consultant with clients to consistently bring them creative, solution-oriented ideas to meet their business challenges; build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Maintain and grow food industry knowledge by attending conferences and industry events, reading professional publications, and establishing personal networks
  • Submit activities and updates using CRM and team collaboration tools

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to convey thoughts effectively
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships
  • A passion for initiating and developing new relationships
  • Ability to work independently but also in cooperation with a team or group
  • Ability to engage clients quickly and develop rapport
  • The ability to develop ideas and follow through with their execution
  • 5 years of sales and marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
